‘UPLIFTING’ NEWs from THE RESORT
As this fast-paced year draws to an end, White Pearl would like to update you on what has been happening in terms of various projects to uplift the resort. The endeavour aimed at enhancing the guest experience involves a multifaceted approach, encompassing completed projects, ongoing efforts, and upcoming plans.
Starting back in 2022, White Pearl Resorts have continued to make major investments, both front and back of house. There have been many enhancements, including the installation of a new 450kw generator, kitchen upgrades and more. The resort also invested in new laundry machines, golf carts, and fat bikes. Significant improvements were made to in-room amenities such as air conditioning and water facilities. Fox Browne was appointed to conduct service and kitchen training, emphasising personalised service and refined dining experiences.
The year 2023 brought a strong focus on enhancing the overall guest experience. Uniforms for both front and back-of-house staff were redesigned, and the restaurant experience was uplifted with restyled menus, crockery, linen, glassware, and tableware. Outdoor spaces saw new lanterns, umbrellas, loungers, and beach equipment. Room upgrades included ongoing implementation of new towels, bed linen, kettles and hairdryers.
Guest areas, including the reception, Boma, sitting room, and decking, underwent refurbishments, while the pool bar and beach bar were also refreshed. Significant upgrades were made to staff housing, wifi infrastructure, and various guest buildings.
The Spa, situated on the beachfront, was successfully completed and includes a small gym.
September 2023 marked the launch of the exclusive 5-bedroom luxury villa, White Pearl Villa.
Looking ahead to 2024, White Pearl Resorts is committed to completing further & ongoing projects. Additional plans include the refurbishment of guest room decks, pools, flooring, and cupboards. New amenities such as guest room curtains, carpets, desk lamps, coffee stations, loungers, outdoor tables, seating, and chandeliers for guest areas are on the horizon.
In the second half of 2024, the resort plans to introduce a new game viewer, outdoor furniture, styling, and a showroom for 2-bedroom family units.

Please note that every effort is being made to avoid any disturbance for in-house guests; depending on the project(s), uplifting activities have to be paused due to high occupancy or factors beyond our control but the team is committed to stay on track as much as possible.
